Newborns

Having a baby? Congratulations!

We are thankful for the opportunity to care for your newborn. In order to familiarize yourself with our practice, please visit the Are We A Good Fit  section on our website, as well as the policies section.

Our physicians do not call on patients while they are in the hospital. Tallahassee Memorial and Capital Regional have pediatric Hospitalists who will care for the baby as an inpatient. You will follow up with one of our physicians 24-48 hours after discharge from the hospital. Once your child is ready for discharge, please call our office at 850-877-1162, press option 2 and then press option 1 to reach our newborn coordinator who will set you up for your first visit with us.

We are happy to announce that we have a Lactation Specialist available to mothers interested in breastfeeding. Simply request to speak with the lactation specialist at any of your visits.

Please refer to the well visits and immunizations sections of our website to familiarize yourself with the appointments/immunization schedules.
